Senior Backend Engineer - Banking Channel

Company DK Bank is a leading Bhutanese financial institution and the official bank of Gelephu Mindfulness City, redefining banking for the digital age while expanding its global presence. Role Join the team building DK Bank’s new Corporate and API Banking Channels. You will work mainly in Go to power corporate banking experiences, partner integrations, and reliable domestic and cross-border payments. Responsibilities - Build backend services for corporate users, partners, and enterprise clients. - Develop payment flows for domestic rails, SWIFT ISO 20022, book transfers, and remittance corridors. - Develop secure, OpenAPI-first APIs for payment initiation, approvals, and integrations. - Integrate with core banking, AML, FX, and other financial providers. - Maintain high standards for testing, observability, and code quality. Qualifications - Strong production Go experience. - Solid SQL knowledge, including transactions, migrations, idempotency, and safe money handling. - Experience with payment systems, banking integrations, or enterprise APIs. - RESTful API design experience with OpenAPI. - Understanding of DevOps, monitoring, and automated testing.
