SAS Developer

Automated Business Solutions team — developing and maintaining non-critical data processing and automations across the organization. Focus is on data processing and automation, explicitly NOT on statistical analysis, data science, exploratory data analysis, BI, or dashboard/visualization work. Specific responsibilities: Develop/maintain/enhance scheduled SAS solutions to process and transform large volumes of data, generating Excel reports as inputs to internal processesIntegrate SAS solutions with other servicesMigrate/modernize legacy solutions (from VBA or Power Query) to SASLeverage AI-assisted dev tools (GitHub Copilot)Technical support and troubleshootingCollaborate with business stakeholders during testing and deliveryDocumentation and knowledge sharingEnvironment: regulated, strict policies/constraints — same pattern as the other EUC roles at this client. Must have skills 3+ years hands-on SASSAS macros, SAS programming/scriptingJob scheduling and workflow automationSDLC experience (testing, deployment, maintenance)SQL or other data processing technologiesAbility to develop within strict policies/constraintsStrong analytical capabilities, structured problem-solvingProactive, self-driven, ownership mindsetFluent English Nice to have Python standards/best practices (PEP)GitHub CopilotAgile/Scrum – SAFeFinance/banking/insurance background
