We are motivated individuals who tackle unique technical challenges at scale and solve them as a team. Together, we deliver innovative and ethical solutions that help businesses achieve their ambitions faster. Documentation Tooling Team The Documentation Tooling Team is responsible for building the systems and foundations that improve how technical knowledge is created, structured, and delivered across Adyen’s developer ecosystem. You will work on core challenges related to content quality, freshness, consistency, scalability and the ability to make information usable both for people and agents. In this role, you will build the next generation of Adyen’s knowledge platform. This platform turns static documentation into structured, queryable knowledge. This includes structuring content, connecting content from multiple sources and building interfaces that make technical documentation accessible across products and tools as knowledge. Your work will power reliable, contextual and efficient access to information for customers, developers, AI agents and internal teams. The team is a strategic part of the Developer Experience group within the Customer Experience solution. Our mission is to provide clear, accurate, and accessible knowledge that supports customers throughout their integration journey and helps them move quickly with confidence. Core Focus Area Content Architecture: Design scalable graph schemas, ontologies, and metadata models that support consistency, reuse, and discoverability across documentation. Serverless Pipeline Orchestration: Own, configure, and optimize robust AWS serverless pipelines to ingest and process documentation from distributed sources. Knowledge Systems Design: Design structured knowledge representations that allow information to be connected, navigated and queried programmatically. APIs for Knowledge & AI Access: Build high-performance retrieval interfaces optimized for developer environments and AI agents. Instrumentation and Quality: Implement automated controls and validation rules to detect documentation drift and ensure the long-term integrity of the knowledge platform. What You’ll Do Implement and deliver the next generation of Adyen’s Knowledge platform, establishing the foundation for intelligent and contextual knowledge delivery via AI native interfaces. Design, configure and orchestrate serverless pipelines in AWS to ingest content from headless CMS and Git repositories. Define the graph schemas, ontologies, and write highly optimized, idempotent queries to update and query the graph database. Collaborate Cross-Functionally working closely with technical writers, product managers, and engineering teams, as well as a dedicated cloud team to ensure secure, resilient infrastructure deployments. Contribute to engineering excellence through code reviews, mentor engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and performance. Who You Are You have deep production experience with Python and are proficient in designing serverless orchestrations using AWS Step Functions and AWS Lambda. You are experienced with graph databases, specifically Neo4j and the Cypher query language, and understand how to build and evolve data ontologies. You have experience building robust content-ingestion or ETL pipelines to extract and transform unstructured content (from sources like Git or Headless CMS) into graph databases. You have experience designing performant APIs for complex retrieval. Knowledge of GraphRAG patterns or vector embedding integration (e.g., via Amazon Bedrock) is a strong plus. You have a solid grasp of Infrastructure-as-Code (Pulumi) to manage your serverless pipelines, and you understand how to collaborate with cloud platform teams managing container workloads (Amazon EKS/Kubernetes). You're an excellent communicator, able to translate strategy into technical initiatives and represent technical points of view to both engineering and writing audiences.
