Senior Software Engineer

Senior Full Stack Engineer £70,000 - £85,000 + bonus + benefits Fully Remote (UK) We're working with a fast-growing technology business that is investing heavily in its engineering function as it scales its platform and product offering. They're looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a collaborative product engineering team, taking ownership of new feature development across both front-end and back-end systems. This role is particularly suited to someone with a strong React and TypeScript background who enjoys working across the full stack whilst building scalable Python services. This is a fully remote opportunity offering a modern engineering environment, technical autonomy and the chance to work on high-impact products used by customers globally. Responsibilities Develop and maintain modern web applications using React and TypeScript.Build and enhance backend services and APIs using PythonCollaborate with Product, Design and Engineering teams to deliver customer-focused features.Contribute to technical design and architectural decisions.Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code.Participate in code reviews and champion engineering best practices.Improve application performance, scalability and reliability.Support CI/CD processes and cloud deployments.Contribute to the continuous improvement of development standards and processes.Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing across the team. Essential Skills Strong commercial experience as a Full Stack Engineer.Expert knowledge of React and TypeScript.Experience building large-scale front-end applications.Strong Python development experience.Experience designing and consuming React APIs.Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.Strong understanding of modern software engineering principles.Experience with automated testing.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
