Description

About the role Arabian Private Holdings is currently supporting a significant mandate for a large investment group based in Abu Dhabi. This role exists to provide technical support for the custom tools and dashboards we use to help this client manage its diverse portfolio. As a Junior JavaScript Developer, you will ensure that the quantitative data we analyze is presented clearly and functions reliably for both our internal teams and the client. About Arabian Private Holdings Our firm was established to solve complex business problems that do not require the overhead of traditional large-firm consulting. We work with family groups, government entities, and listed corporations, providing direct access to principals who take personal accountability for every outcome. We focus on portfolio clarity and operating model efficiency, favoring rigorous analysis over lengthy methodology decks. As a fully remote firm, we prioritize the strength of our views and the clarity of our advice over geographic presence or aggressive growth targets. We only take on mandates where we can provide a definitive, defensible perspective. What you will do Develop and maintain web-based interfaces using JavaScript to support client mandates. Build and refine data visualization components that track portfolio performance and governance metrics. Collaborate with consultants to translate complex financial requirements into logical, functional code. Write clean and maintainable scripts to automate the processing of data from various investment reports. Debug and resolve technical issues within internal tools to ensure consistent uptime for the firm. Document technical workflows and code structures to maintain a clear record of internal systems. Participate in code reviews to ensure all technical work meets our standards for clarity and precision. Research and suggest libraries or tools that can improve the performance of our data interfaces. What we are looking for Fundamental knowledge of JavaScript, including basic experience with DOM manipulation and asynchronous programming. Familiarity with at least one modern front-end library or framework, such as React, Vue, or Svelte. A strong grasp of HTML and CSS to create organized and legible user interfaces. Logical rigor and the ability to break down a complex problem into manageable technical steps. Excellent written communication skills, with a focus on brevity and clarity in documentation. An interest in corporate strategy and how large-scale investment groups operate. The discipline to manage tasks independently within a fully remote working environment. How we work We operate as a decentralized team, which means we value autonomy and clear communication above all else. Our remote model is built on the idea that high-level analysis requires focus rather than office distractions. We do not hold meetings for the sake of meetings. Instead, we rely on precise writing and structured updates to keep our projects moving. When you join Arabian Private Holdings, you are not just a developer: you are a contributor to a principal-led team where your technical input directly affects how we advise our clients. Mentorship happens through direct feedback and involvement in active mandates, ensuring you understand the business context behind the code you write. What the role offers A permanent, full-time position within a firm that values expertise over tradition. Competitive compensation that is attractive for the current market and seniority level. Direct exposure to the operations of a major investment group based in Abu Dhabi. The flexibility of a 100 percent remote work arrangement with no travel requirements. A professional environment that rewards clarity of thought and logical precision. The opportunity to build tools that have a measurable impact on corporate governance and strategy.
