p>At Tech Pipeline, we deal with the friction that keeps teams from doing their actual work.
We are looking for an Associate Frontend Developer to join us in supporting a project for a leading British investment firm.
This engagement focuses on the internal dashboards and approval tools that the firm uses daily.
Currently, their team struggles with disjointed interfaces and data that does not flow correctly between systems.
You will help us fix these seams by building clean, functional user interfaces that prioritize clarity over flashiness.
This is a fully remote position where you will focus on resolving the specific UI hurdles that create operational drag for the client.
About Tech Pipeline We fix broken approval chains, manual reconciliations, and systems that fail to communicate.
We target the gap between existing software and the actual work needed to move a business forward.
Our team looks at the logs and configuration to find where processes have degraded into chaos.
We do not deliver abstract frameworks: we update routing rules, rewrite SOPs, and consolidate backlogs.
We stay through the cutover and the first month of live operation to ensure the fix remains stable.
We believe the right solution usually lives within the tools the client already owns.
We value clear documentation, named ownership, and plain English in all our technical work.
What You Will Do Build and update UI components using React and TypeScript for internal investment tools.
Translate wireframes and functional requirements into working code that solves specific user friction.
Debug visual inconsistencies and interface bugs reported by the client team in their daily workflows.
Review browser logs and frontend telemetry to identify where user actions are failing or timing out.
Collaborate with backend developers to ensure API data displays correctly and efficiently in the browser.
Update internal documentation and runbooks to reflect changes made to the user interface.
Participate in testing sessions during the cutover phase to ensure the interface holds under real world conditions.
Assist in consolidating drifting UI elements into a consistent, usable layout for analysts.
What You Bring Basic familiarity with HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript fundamentals.
Experience with a framework like React or Vue, which could come from a bootcamp, university project, or personal hobby work.
A curious mindset about how software breaks and a genuine interest in finding the root cause.
The ability to write clear, plain English documentation for your code changes and fixes.
Strong attention to detail when looking at UI layouts and inspecting browser consoles for errors.
Comfort working in a fully remote environment that relies heavily on asynchronous communication.
A focus on utility and function rather than just aesthetic trends or unnecessary complexity.
Willingness to learn how specific investment routing rules affect the way data should be presented.
What We Offer Attractive and competitive pay for an entry level position in the current market.
A fully remote work environment that gives you control over your physical workspace.
The satisfaction of finishing specific projects and seeing them go live rather than maintaining endless retainers.
Direct mentorship from senior developers who value clear, simple code and practical problem solving.
Exposure to the internal operations and technical challenges of a major investment firm.
A work culture that avoids unnecessary meetings and prioritizes concise written updates.
How We Work
Tech Pipeline operates on a model of efficiency and clarity.
We do not have long daily standups or endless brainstorming sessions.
Instead, we rely on weekly written updates and a detailed decision log to track progress and ownership.
Every change we make is backed by documentation so that the client can manage the system themselves once we leave.
Our goal is to stabilize the environment, remove the daily drag, and ensure the fix is permanent.
We value developers who prefer getting the work done over talking about the work, and who understand that a simple fix that works is better than a complex one that breaks.
This role is a permanent, full-time position.
