This is a remote role for someone with at least 5 years of professional experience who is comfortable owning features end to end; from database and API design through to a polished, responsive front end. You'll work closely with product, design, and other engineers to ship features that our customers rely on to run complex, high-stakes projects. What You'll Do Design, build, and ship full-stack features across our web application — front end, back end, and data layer Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code, and review pull requests from teammates Collaborate with Product and Design to turn requirements into technical plans and shippable increments Own the performance, reliability, and security of the systems you build Participate in architecture discussions and help evolve our technical roadmap Debug and resolve production issues, and contribute to on-call rotation Mentor more junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence What You'll Bring Minimum 5 years of professional experience building full-stack web applications Strong proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (eg. React) and server-side languages such as Node.js and Python Solid understanding of relational databases such as Postgress, API design (REST or GraphQL), and cloud infrastructure such as Azure A track record of shipping and owning features independently, with strong debugging and problem-solving skills Comfortable working and communicating asynchronously in a fully remote team Excellent communication skills. Remote work runs on clear documentation, PRs, and messages Nice to Have Experience in construction tech, project management software, or another B2B SaaS vertical Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines (eg. GitHub Actions) Experience with large-scale data modeling or reporting features Experience integrating third-party LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) into production features Exposure to agentic workflows, tool-use, or function-calling patterns in an application Familiarity with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar standards for connecting LLMs to external tools and data sources Experience adding AI-powered features to a customer-facing product (eg. search, summarization, chat) Work Arrangement This role is fully remote. We support engineers working from home offices anywhere, with core collaboration hours overlapping US business hours. Occasional travel for team offsites may be required.
