Working from Toronto or Brampton office, you will work with the Enterprise DevOps team, Cyber Security, our Cloud Infrastructure team and application teams across enterprise to shape the build and release systems that will empower our digital presence. What You'll Do Leads solution designs, documents architecture and creates high-level design documentsHelps determine/enrich coding standards along with the senior development team and ensures consistent adoption by developersConducts code reviews, mentors and coaches' team on architectures, solutions and coding practicesProactively provides objective feedback to consultants and development partners to ensure proper execution of projectsDesign and develop automation solutions for application build and deploymentEnhance and maintain existing solutions bringing in lessons learnt and best practicesWork in a small team with startup mentality to write high-quality codeProactively recommend solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of different approachesCollaborate with the development team, support, and business on day-to-day development requests and supportActively document all activities and participate in peer review for code and documentationFollow industry best practices in all development activities What You Bring Experience with public cloud infrastructure and solution design concepts (AWS, Azure, Google)Hands-on experiences with Java and/or Python, with proficiency in at least one.Hands- on Experience with Linux systems specifically RHEL including scriptingWorking knowledge of Groovy as a pipeline scripting language Experience with CICD tools like GitHub Actions, ADO or JenkinsExperience with SCM like GitHub with knowledge of branching and release conceptsExperience with Application security and code quality tools like SonarQube, XrayHands on experience with AI Platform like GitHub copilot, Claude, and knowledge of emerging AI capabilitiesExperience in working with distributed teams situated locally or globally in different geographiesFlexible and adaptive, team player with excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work well under pressure, take ownership on the deliverables, prioritize work and well organized What’s in it for you?
