Frontend Developer

Front-End Web Developer required by a SaaS software business, working as part of a collaborative product and engineering team. The position will focus on developing modern user-facing applications using Angular and TypeScript, working closely with UX/UI, backend development and product teams to turn designs and requirements into high-quality production software. They are looking for someone with strong Angular experience who takes an interest not only in how an application looks, but also its performance, maintainability and overall user experience. Key responsibilities will include: Developing new user-facing functionality using Angular, TypeScript and NodeJSBuilding reusable front-end components and librariesTranslating UI/UX designs and wireframes into production-ready applicationsOptimising applications across different browsers and web-capable devicesIntegrating front-end applications with backend services and APIsWorking closely with product and UX/UI teams to understand end-user requirementsAssessing the technical feasibility of UI/UX designsTesting and debugging applications to maintain code qualityContributing to improvements in front-end tooling, testing and development standards Key experience required: 5+ years' commercial front-end development experienceStrong commercial Angular experienceJavaScript and TypeScriptRxJS and/or NgRxNodeJS and the npm/yarn ecosystemRESTful APIsModern front-end build pipelines and toolingAngular CLI, Webpack and npmGit version controlA good understanding of front-end performance optimisation Experience with Angular Universal/server-side rendering and web accessibility would be beneficial. This is a fully remote position and would suit an experienced Angular developer who enjoys building well-engineered applications and wants genuine involvement in the development of the product.
