Associate Sitecore Developer

We’re looking for a Junior Sitecore Developer to join the digital technology team and help deliver practical improvements across MECCA’s Sitecore environment. The Role You Can Play Enterprise platform exposure - build experience across Sitecore and the broader digital technology landscapeCustomer-facing impact - contribute to web and content experiences used by MECCA customers every dayLearning and growth - work alongside experienced developers, product owners and digital stakeholdersModern retail technology - gain exposure to e-commerce, content management, integrations and digital deliverySupportive team environment - join a collaborative team where you can ask questions, build confidence and keep developing your craftRecognised brand - be part of one of Australia’s most distinctive and fast-growing retail businesses Key Responsibilities Include Building and updating Sitecore components, templates, layouts and content-driven featuresSupporting the development, maintenance and enhancement of MECCA’s Sitecore platformTroubleshooting defects, small enhancements and continuous improvement across digital channelsWorking with senior developers to understand requirements and turn them into practical technical changesHelping test, validate and document changes before they move through releaseWorking with product, digital, content and technology teams to support a high-quality customer experience What You Will Bring Some hands-on experience in software development, ideally using .NET / C#, JavaScript, HTML and CSSUnderstanding of modern web development fundamentals, including responsive web and front-end basicsComfortable working with Git or a similar source control toolAbility to follow development standards, write clear code and ask for help when neededStrong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn from more experienced developersAn interest in Sitecore, CMS platforms, e-commerce or digital customer experience Nice To Have: Exposure to Sitecore, ASP.NET MVC, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, APIs, headless CMS concepts, retail or e-commerce environments. This role is based in Richmond and works to MECCA’s four-days-per-week in-office rhythm. You’ll be joining a fast-paced retail technology environment where priorities can move quickly, so this will suit someone who enjoys variety, is comfortable learning on the job, and is motivated by building digital experiences that customers actually use. This is a junior role, so you won’t be expected to know everything on day one.
