This is a specialist SharePoint role focused on: SharePoint On-Prem → SharePoint Online migration SharePoint solution development (SPFx / customisation) This role is based in the Netherlands and requires on site presence (Hybrid 3 days office, 2 days WFH) Do NOT apply if your experience is primarily in: Microsoft 365 administration (Teams, Exchange, Intune, Entra ID) Power Platform without SharePoint migration experience General IT support, infrastructure, or Modern Workplace roles SharePoint usage/configuration without development or migration delivery This role requires hands-on experience in BOTH: Delivering SharePoint migrations (2013/2016/2019 → Online) Developing custom SharePoint solutions (SPFx, APIs, etc.) Applications that do not clearly demonstrate both will not be considered. Role Overview We are seeking a Senior SharePoint Migration & Solutions Developer with proven experience delivering end-to-end SharePoint migration and modernisation projects. This is not a lift-and-shift role. You will be responsible for: Analysing existing SharePoint environments Re-engineering legacy solutions (e.g. Nintex, customisations) Delivering modern, scalable SharePoint Online solutions You will work within a structured Agile/DevOps environment, contributing to both migration delivery and solution development. SharePoint Migration (MANDATORY) You must have hands-on experience delivering SharePoint migrations, not just supporting or observing them. Required Experience Migrating SharePoint 2013/2016/2019 → SharePoint Online Using tools such as ShareGate Planning and executing migrations end-to-end Conducting: Content inventory and assessment Data cleansing and restructuring Information architecture redesign Adhering to a migration strategyMaintaining/ updating DevOps (or similar tool) with migration progress Complex Migration Handling Permissions and security structures Version history migration Large lists and libraries Post-migration validation and issue resolution Creation of technical documents SharePoint Development (MANDATORY) You must have hands-on development experience building SharePoint solutions, not just configuring the platform. Required Experience Developing solutions in: SharePoint Online (M365) SharePoint Subscription Edition / On-Prem Strong experience with: SharePoint Framework (SPFx) JavaScript / TypeScript REST APIs / Microsoft Graph JSON formatting (columns, views, forms) Solution Delivery Rebuilding legacy SharePoint customisations into modern solutions Developing custom web parts and extensions Identifying and redesigning unsupported components Maintaining alignment with existing environment (look & feel; branding; functionality etc.) Workflow Transformation Analyse and reverse-engineer Nintex (On-Prem) workflows and forms Redesign workflows using: Power Automate Power Apps Focus on improving and modernising logic, not just migrating workflows SharePoint & Microsoft 365 Expertise Strong understanding of: SharePoint Online architecture Modern vs Classic experience Site collections, lists, libraries, and pages Permissions and security models Working knowledge of: Microsoft Teams OneDrive Microsoft 365 Groups Security & Compliance SharePoint Online permissions model Microsoft 365 compliance features: Sensitivity labels Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Retention policies Validation & Post-Migration Support Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Perform post-migration validation Troubleshoot migration and solution issues Provide Hypercare and stabilisation support DevOps & Delivery Framework Work within Azure DevOps Work item tracking (Features, User Stories, Tasks) Effort estimation and delivery tracking Continuous improvement of delivery practices What a Strong Candidate Looks Like You will likely have: Delivered multiple SharePoint migration projects end-to-end Rebuilt Nintex / legacy workflows into modern solutions Developed SPFx web parts or custom SharePoint components Worked across migration + development within the same project Experience working in structured delivery environments Required Experience 6–8+ years working with SharePoint (mandatory) Proven experience in both SharePoint migration and SharePoint development Strong problem-solving and solution design capability Experience working directly with stakeholders Soft Skills Strong communication with business and technical stakeholders Ability to translate requirements into solutions Ownership and accountability for delivery Collaborative team mindset Desirable (Not Essential) Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Exposure to Azure services (e.g. Entra ID, integrations) Experience contributing to governance frameworks What We Offer Highly competitive salary Industry training Personal and professional growth Exposure to projects within the Space Industry
