About the Role We are looking for a motivated Junior Backend Engineer to join our team and grow with us while contributing to the design and development of our backend systems. You will work closely with senior engineers to build reliable services, while continuing to develop your technical skills in a supportive environment. Responsibilities Assist in developing and maintaining backend services using Node.js and NestJSSupport the design and implementation of database schemas using PostgreSQLWrite clean, testable, and well-documented codeCollaborate with front-end developers and other team members to deliver end-to-end solutionsParticipate in code reviews and apply feedback to improve code qualityAssist in troubleshooting and debugging application issuesContinuously learn and stay up to date with backend best practices and new technologies Qualifications 1+ years of professional experience in backend developmentWorking knowledge of Node.js and NestJS (or similar frameworks)Basic to intermediate experience working with PostgreSQLFamiliarity with AWS services is a plus (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.)Understanding of RESTful API design principlesFamiliarity with Git and version control workflowsBasic understanding of software architecture and design patternsStrong willingness to learn and grow technicallyGood problem-solving skills and attention to detailGood communication skills and ability to work well in a teamBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) Please send a detailed CV via email to info@getviero.com stating the job title in the subject header.
