Role Overview JOB DESCRIPTION Miral Experiences operates world-class theme parks and attractions on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, and our Digital & Technology (DTD) team builds the guest-facing digital products behind them. Within the Experience Platform team, you will help create fast, elegant, accessible web experiences on a modern ReactJS / Next.js stack integrated with our Sitecore Experience Platform. As a Front-End Developer, you will be proficient with ReactJS and Next.js, focusing on building user-interface components using React workflows (such as Redux). You will ensure these components and the overall application are robust, performant, and easy to maintain, and you will coordinate closely with team members working across the different layers of the application. ROLE SCOPE Front-End Development      Build guest-facing user interfaces with ReactJS and Next.js, translating Figma designs and wireframes into pixel-accurate, high-quality, responsive code.     Develop application interface code in JavaScript / TypeScript following React best practices and established workflows (e.g. Redux / Redux Toolkit).     Integrate front-end applications with REST and/or GraphQL APIs and back-end services. Component Architecture & Reusability      Build reusable components and front-end libraries — a shared design system — for future use.     Apply component-composition patterns (Hooks, higher-order components) for maintainable, scalable UIs.     Contribute to and maintain the team's component documentation (e.g. Storybook). Performance, Accessibility & Quality      Optimise components for maximum performance across a wide range of web-capable devices and browsers, and monitor and improve Core Web Vitals.     Ensure accessibility to WCAG 2.1 AA (semantic HTML, ARIA) and cross-browser, mobile-first responsiveness.     Apply front-end security best practices (e.g. XSS / CSRF mitigation). Business Requirements & Documentation      Understand and document business requirements, solutions, and operating procedures.     Write and validate UAT tests with business users, and propose documentation and best-practice improvements. Testing & Quality Assurance      Own the full development cycle: conception, development, deployment, and continuous improvement.     Write unit tests (e.g. Jest with React Testing Library) for quality and regression coverage, and support QA with integration and end-to-end testing fixtures.     Troubleshoot bugs and issues and identify and implement the appropriate fix. Ways of Working & Standards      Work within Agile / SCRUM — sprint planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.     Adhere to coding standards, policies, best practices, and procedures for the Sitecore Experience Platform.     Participate in peer code reviews and CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Azure DevOps). Qualifications, Experience And Skills Education and Qualifications      Bachelor’s degree in computer science Years of Experience           Overall experience of 5to 8 years of as Frontend developer with 2-3 experience working with ReactJS.     Should have experience on Agile development methodology Knowledge, Languages and Skills           A rock-solid understanding of the core JavaScript language, HTML5, and CSS3     Experience working on accessibility is a plus     Should have basic understanding on MV*/MVC framework     Understanding of React, including effective JSX, Virtual DOM, Stateless & Stateful Components     Should know the React component lifecycle, including optimizations     Good to have understanding of Functional Components (preferably with Hooks)     Good understanding of state management via at least one of Redux, Context API or MobX     Should know to compose reusable components and Forms in React     Component compositions (Higher order components)     Should be able to write test cases (preferably using Jest with React Testing Library or Enzyme)     Understanding of Server-Side Rendering (SSR)     Basic understanding of Static Site Generation (SSG)     Basic understanding of Node.js and NPM scripts About Us Miral Experiences
