Azure Integration Lead

🚀 Technical Lead – Azure Integration Services | Sydney / Remote (Government Organisation) 12-month daily rate contract | View to extend Daily rate: $1,000–$1,100 per day (maximum $1,100 per day) Sydney CBD based | 100% remote available for candidates based in other Australian states Role: Technical Lead (Azure Integration Services) Our client requires a Azure Integration Technical Lead to lead the solution architecture design, application development and support of enterprise applications within budget, timeframes and quality standards to drive innovation and build digital capability within the organisation. The main functions of the role are to: Manage and maintain the client’s application platforms to ensure they are current, efficient and effective,Manage technical deliverables in the client’s digital programs, inclusive of illustrating the architecture solution design and presenting it to the IT-SARB (Security Architecture Review Board),Develop system changes that meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget,Maintain knowledge of current and future technology,Ensure quality of support and development. Requirements of Role: Minimum of 10 years’ experience in .NET development.Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.Experience designing solutions for complex enterprise IT environments across on-premises and hybrid cloud infrastructure.Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.Logic Apps & AIS: Deep hands-on experience building integration workflows with Azure Logic Apps (Standard/Consumption), Service Bus, and Azure Functions.Data Transformation: Strong proficiency mapping complex XML, JSON, Flat Files, and EDI using XSLT and Liquid templates.Protocol & LOB Integration: Experienced in connecting systems via REST, SOAP/WCF, SFTP, and SQL databases.Messaging & Reliability: Expertise in asynchronous messaging, pub/sub, dead-lettering, and scope-based error handling.Developer Tooling & ALM: Proficient with local development in VS Studio/Code, Git version control, and multi-environment deployment pipelines (Azure DevOps).Monitoring & Diagnostics: Experience tracking end-to-end message flows using Application Insights and Log Analytics (KQL).Excellent communication and presentation skills.Tertiary qualifications with minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering.BizTalk Migration: Demonstrated experience converting legacy BizTalk Server orchestrations, pipelines, schemas, and maps into Azure cloud-native solutions is highly desirable. 📩 How to Apply: Candidate availability and best daily rate must be submitted with the resume/proposal.
