Description

Azure Integration Technical Lead Azure Integration | Solution Design | .NET | Technical Leadership We're partnering with a well-established Australian organisation continuing to invest in its internal technology and integration capability. We're looking for a hands-on Integration Technical Lead who can combine strong solution design capability with genuine engineering depth. The Role This role sits right between solution design and hands-on engineering. You'll work with Architects, Analysts, Product Owners and business stakeholders to understand what needs to be solved, translate those requirements into robust integration designs and then remain closely involved in how those solutions are built and delivered. This isn't a role where you design a solution and throw it over the fence to development. You'll own technical decisions, guide engineers and remain connected to solutions throughout design, build, deployment and BAU support. You will: Own the technical design of integration solutions across complex internal and external systems Translate business and system requirements into scalable integration designs Determine appropriate patterns across APIs, messaging, events and asynchronous workflows Design and build solutions using Microsoft Azure Integration Services and C#/.NET Work across Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus and API Management Design secure REST and SOAP APIs and event-driven integrations Provide technical direction and guidance to Integration Engineers Remain hands-on with development, troubleshooting and complex technical problems Review solution designs and code Establish and improve integration patterns and engineering standards Work closely with Architecture while retaining ownership of the detailed solution Guide CI/CD and automated deployment practices using Azure DevOps Lead the technical response to complex production issues Ensure solutions are supportable and maintainable once transitioned into BAU Identify opportunities to simplify, improve and modernise existing integrations About You You're likely a senior integration engineer or existing technical lead who is equally comfortable discussing a solution design and getting into the technical detail required to make it work. You'll bring: Significant software and integration engineering experience Strong hands-on C#/.NET capability Deep experience with Microsoft Azure Integration Services Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus and API Management Strong API design experience across REST and/or SOAP Excellent understanding of enterprise integration patterns Event-driven, asynchronous and message-based architecture experience Experience designing solutions across complex enterprise environments Strong understanding of API security, authentication and authorisation Hands-on CI/CD experience, preferably Azure DevOps Experience owning solutions from requirements and design through to production and BAU Excellent troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capability Experience providing technical direction and mentoring engineers Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills You should be able to understand a complex problem, challenge assumptions, design the right solution and then stay close enough to the engineering to ensure it actually works. If you want technical leadership while remaining genuinely hands-on, we'd love to hear from you.
