Lead AWS Developer

Our client is seeking an experienced AWS Senior Developer to join a development team delivering a major cloud-based data platform. This is a hands-on full-stack development role with a strong AWS focus, responsible for the detailed design and development of scalable applications, data services and integrations within a complex enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities Design and develop robust, scalable applications and services within AWSTake ownership of the detailed design and development of key system componentsDevelop full-stack solutions across web applications, APIs, databases and data servicesWork with AWS technologies including S3, DynamoDB, Redshift and AppSyncDevelop using TypeScript and Node.js, including unit testing with JestBuild data integrations using APIs, Pub/Sub messaging, file transfer and GraphQLWork closely with DevOps and Test teams across CI/CD, automated testing and deploymentEnsure code meets performance, quality, security and testability standardsCollaborate with Technical Leads, Architects, project teams and external partnersFollow DevOps, DevSecOps, architecture and cyber security standards Key Requirements Strong commercial experience designing and delivering AWS cloud solutionsExtensive full-stack software development experienceStrong TypeScript and Node.js development experienceExperience with AWS services including DynamoDB, S3, Redshift and AppSyncStrong experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databasesExperience developing APIs, GraphQL services and Pub/Sub or messaging solutionsExperience with real-time data processing and message bus technologiesStrong CI/CD, DevOps and DevSecOps experienceExperience with Power BIUnderstanding of enterprise networking and firewallsStrong communication skills and experience working across technical and business stakeholders Highly Regarded Python and/or Java development experienceReactJS experienceMicroservices architecture experienceExperience with relational and non-relational database designExperience within government, regulated or large enterprise environmentsITIL / Service Management knowledgeIf you would like to know more, please contact Milly Kerei-Keepa at milly.kerei-keepa@talentinternational.com or hit Apply Now
