For more information, please visit www.ltm.com Senior Software Engineer Java Integration Insurance Platforms About the Role LTM Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design develop and support enterprise integration services for one of Australia's leading insurance organizations This role is focused on building secure scalable integration services that enable seamless data exchange across core insurance platforms including policy administration claims underwriting customer engagement and partner ecosystems You will play a key role in modernizing enterprise applications through API led integration event driven architecture and cloud native development practices Working within an Agile delivery environment you will collaborate with architects business stakeholders product owners and engineering teams to deliver high quality software solutions that improve operational efficiency and enhance customer experiences Key Responsibilities Design and develop enterprise grade Java applications and integration services Build secure RESTful APIs supporting policy claims billing and customer management platforms Deliver scalable microservices using Spring Boot and modern Java frameworks Integrate internal insurance systems with thirdparty vendors digital channels and enterprise platforms Participate in technical design workshops and contribute to solution architecture Ensure solutions meet security compliance performance and reliability standards Produce clean maintainable and well tested code following engineering best practices Support CICD pipelines automated deployments and production releases Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing platform support and continuous improvement Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering standards across the team Technical Skills Essential Java 8 or above Spring Boot and Spring Framework RESTful API design and development Microservices architecture Swagger OpenAPI Postman Git Maven or Gradle SQL databases Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB Docker and container technologies CICD pipelines Desirable ReactJS NodeJS ExpressJS Kubernetes Azure PaaS or other cloud platforms Messaging technologies and eventdriven architecture OAuth2 JWT and API security frameworks Experience Strong commercial experience developing enterprise Java applications Experience delivering integration solutions within large enterprise environments Knowledge of API lifecycle management and enterprise integration patterns Experience working with distributed systems and cloudnative architectures Strong understanding of software engineering principles including SOLID design and Domain Driven Design DDD Experience working in AgileScrum delivery teams Insurance Domain Experience - The ideal candidate will have experience working within the insurance or financial services sector and understand the integration requirements across Policy Administration Systems Claims Management Platforms Underwriting Systems Customer Portals Broker and Partner Integrations Payment and Billing Services Customer Identity and Authentication Regulatory and Compliance Reporting Experience integrating enterprise applications using APIs to support policy lifecycle events claims processing and customer servicing will be highly regarded LTM Australia Work on large-scale enterprise and cloud integration programsBe part of a globally recognized digital transformation leaderExposure to cutting-edge integration, API, and automation platformsStrong career growth, learning pathways, and certification supportCollaborative, high-performance consulting environment LTM proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
