Role Overview We are looking for a software engineer with good understanding and experience building web services using modern technologies. We have a cross-functional team, so the candidate will be able to pick for themselves either to work in TypeScript, React, Redux to make frontend components, build services in Java 17 & Java 21, Spring boot with managed DBs and services in AWS, or spin them up in one of our Kubernetes clusters. Location: This position will be based in our Sydney office. We have one or two days a week which teams usually elect for themselves to attend the office. Key Responsibilities Be an active contributor to all team activities during the entire software life cycleWork closely with product owners during discovery step to set up the goals and metrics forsuccessful launch of the feature or componentContribute to and/or lead software architecture and design of the features and components webuildWork on customer requests, helping the team and stakeholders to prioritise the improvements and additions to our product Skills, Knowledge And Expertise Experience with any modern web tech stackKnowledge or desire to work on Java, TypeScript, Kubernetes projectsExperience or level of understanding of modern cloud-based solutions, ideally on AWS stack About NUIX Nuix is an equal opportunities employer.
