We’re now seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join our team and help us shape the future of connected experiences. As a Senior .NET Developer at Symbos, you’ll work alongside passionate professionals to design and build secure, scalable, and data-driven applications using the latest in .NET, Angular, AI and cloud technologies. You’ll play a key role in delivering solutions that are reliable, secure, and aligned to real business needs. In this role, you will: Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable web applications and APIs using .NET Core Build and optimise data access layers using Entity Framework and advanced SQL techniques Write and tune high-performance SQL queries and stored procedures across transactional and analytical workloadsWork on Angular-based front-end components and integrate them with backend APIsEnsure data integrity, system reliability, and secure handling of sensitive information Apply security best practices, including authentication, authorisation, and encryptionCollaborate with DevOps and security teams to maintain secure CI/CD pipelines and deployments Conduct code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and maintain high code quality standardsMonitor and optimise database performance, including indexing and query tuningIntegrate or support AI/ML-driven features and modern data-driven solutions Work within Agile teams, contributing to sprints, estimations, and retrospectives To thrive at Symbos, you’ll bring: Tertiary qualifications in IT or a related fieldAt least 5+ years of experience in .NET Core development Strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET Core, RESTful APIs, Entity Framework, and SQL Server Proven experience working with complex databases, including performance tuning and query optimisation Solid understanding of application security practices, including authentication, authorisation, and encryptionExperience with Angular (or similar modern front-end frameworks) and integrating front-end with backend APIsFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS Experience with CI/CD, Git, and Agile/Scrum environments Exposure to AI APIs or machine learning integration is advantageousStrong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to building secure, maintainable systemsAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams If you’re a strong problem-solver who enjoys working on secure, data-driven systems and wants to make a meaningful impact, we’d love to hear from you.
