There are many integrations, data flows and processes that require high reliability. We need someone with strong Java experience who understands multithreaded systems, microservices, streaming and production-grade application operations. This is a role for a senior engineer who can take ownership of an important system area, work with stakeholders and keep the technical quality high at the same time. What You Will Build Distributed backend applications in Java.Microservices and components based on Spring Boot.Integrations with data systems and external services.Streaming and event-driven solutions.Automation, monitoring and alerting mechanisms.Components deployed in containerized environments.Systems designed for stability, auditability and business continuity. Responsibilities Design and develop backend applications in Java.Participate in strategic technology initiatives.Build scalable and multithreaded components.Design microservices, APIs and integrations.Work with Kafka and streaming-based solutions.Implement monitoring, automation and operational mechanisms.Collaborate with teams across multiple locations.Analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Plan, coordinate and support changes in test and production environments.Ensure code quality, security and maintainability. Technology Stack Backend Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST API, microservices Concurrency multithreading, async processing, performance tuning Messaging Kafka, streaming, event-driven architecture Cloud / platform Kubernetes, OpenShift, public cloud Data SQL, relational databases, database objects Observability ELK, monitoring, alerting, metrics DevOps Docker, CI/CD, deployment automation Architecture 12-factor apps, OO design, design patterns, integration patterns Requirements At least 7-8 years of commercial Java development experience.Strong Java and Spring Boot skills.Experience with multithreaded and scalable applications.Knowledge of Hibernate, REST API and microservices.Experience with Kafka or similar streaming solutions.SQL and database experience.Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift or public cloud.Understanding of 12-factor app design.Ability to work with a high level of ownership.Very good English communication skills. Nice to Have ELK stack and observability.Experience with business-critical systems.Experience in regulated or enterprise environments.Deployment automation knowledge.Performance tuning experience.Practice working with globally distributed teams.Ability to collaborate with demanding stakeholders.
