Front End Engineer

Front-End Engineer Who you are We are looking for a dynamic, hands-on Front End Engineer to join our software engineering team. This role reports to the Principal Software Engineer within the Engineering team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of successfully developing new product features and enhancements in an Agile environment. This role requires close collaboration with a globally distributed remote engineering team of 7 to 10 members. As an individual contributor, you will be accountable for the technical design, implementation, and testing of the company’s frontend software services and applications. Key responsibilities include: Analyze technical requirements and design solutions that fulfill business needs while maintaining software quality, stability, scalability, and engineering standards.Develop high-quality, maintainable software using modern software engineering practices, taking primary ownership of frontend architecture, design, and implementation.Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and technical leadership on solution design, technology assessments, technical standards, and continuous system and process improvements.Participate actively in Agile delivery—including sprint planning, daily standups, technical design reviews, code reviews, and commitments—ensuring milestones are met with high-quality deliverables.Identify and resolve technical roadblocks, proactively escalating risks and dependencies when appropriate.Build and maintain automated tests across unit, functional, integration, and end-to-end levels, supporting production applications when required.Design and implement agentic interaction patterns, including Intent Previews, Autonomy Dials (variable agency levels), and real-time step-by-step reasoning visibility (Explainable Rationale) to increase transparency and reduce user uncertainty during predictive analytics generation.Architect frontend safety and human-in-the-loop mechanisms, including granular execution overrides, action audits, and graceful multi-step error recovery pathways for automated brand reporting workflows. Experience and Skills required for this position include: 5+ years of professional software development experience, including full-lifecycle development from design through production delivery.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.Strong foundation in both object-oriented and functional programming paradigms.Strong sense of modern UI/UX design, including dynamic generative UI state rendering, progressive disclosure, and machine-readable UI design systems.Expertise in implementing semantic HTML5 and CSS3 markup.Expertise in modern web frontend development with React or similar component-based frameworks.Expertise in building intuitive, transparent user interfaces for agentic and asynchronous AI workflows, including streaming state updates (WebSocket/SSE), real-time agent state communication, and human-in-the-loop safety mechanisms.Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript across the stack, including experience with Express, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL systems.Working knowledge of RDBMS/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and MongoDB.Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.Experience building, containerizing, and deploying applications using Docker.Proficiency with modern version control systems like Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.Experience working with Agile/Scrum/Kanban practices and tools like Jira.Willingness and enthusiasm to learn new languages and technologies (specifically Go).Experience working in multi-release, fast-paced software development environments.Strong analytical, self-management, and problem-solving capabilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across teams and produce clear technical documentation.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with modern JavaScript (ES6+) and build tools (Webpack, Vite, etc.).Proficiency with functional React paradigms and custom hooks.Proficiency with modern CSS, CSS-in-JS, and Tailwind CSS.Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, and Playwright.
