Senior Full Stack Engineer

Lead Sr. Full-Stack Developer We are seeking a hands-on Full-Stack Developer to design, develop, and modernize enterprise applications across both frontend and backend environments. This role will be approximately 50% frontend and 50% backend development and is ideal for someone who enjoys working across the full technology stack. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, backend API development, application modernization, and cloud technologies. This person will remain highly hands-on while also providing technical guidance, mentoring junior developers, and helping lead projects and technical initiatives. This is a hybrid role based in Atlanta, GA.Sponsorship or C2C is not available now or in the future. What We're Looking For This role is best suited for someone who has grown from a strong frontend or backend developer into a true full-stack engineer and enjoys working across the entire application lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be highly hands-on technically but also comfortable taking ownership of projects, mentoring junior developers, contributing to technical decisions, and clearly communicating complex concepts. The strongest candidates will bring a combination of Vue.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Java/Spring Boot, API development, cloud experience, and application modernization experience, along with the ability to split their time evenly between frontend and backend development. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications across frontend and backend environments.Build modern, responsive web applications using Vue.js/Vue 3, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js, Java/Spring Boot, and related technologies.Participate in application transformation and modernization initiatives, including migrating legacy SOAP services to REST APIs.Work across the full development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and technical design through development, testing, deployment, and production support.Build scalable and secure APIs and integrations between enterprise applications.Work with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, or other cloud environments.Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements, explain technical concepts, and recommend solutions.Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions.Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance while remaining approximately 70% hands-on and 30% focused on technical leadership and mentorship.Contribute to CI/CD, automation, containerization, and application deployment processes.Ensure applications follow secure coding, testing, quality, and documentation standards. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.6+ years of professional full-stack development experience.Strong experience across both frontend and backend development, with the ability to work approximately 50/50 across the stack.Hands-on experience with Vue.js, preferably Vue 3. Candidates with strong JavaScript or Angular backgrounds who can quickly work within Vue environments may also be considered.Strong experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.Backend development experience with Node.js and API development.Experience with Java and Spring Boot.Experience designing, developing, and supporting REST APIs.Experience with application modernization, transformation, or migration initiatives, including legacy-to-modern architecture or SOAP-to-REST migrations.Experience with AWS or another cloud platform.Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts, projects, and architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.Experience leading technical projects or initiatives and mentoring junior developers. Preferred Technical Experience CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.Docker and Kubernetes.Cloud-native application development.Secure coding practices and API security.Database experience with relational and/or NoSQL technologies.Experience with system integrations, messaging, or enterprise applications.
