Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Front-End Developer (Angular / Next.js) role based in Kathmandu, built around a modern, AI-native workflow. AI tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot, Codex) are a core part of the job, not an optional aid — the developer will orchestrate AI to write and scaffold code, critically review AI-generated output before it ships, and lean on AI throughout debugging, testing, and deployment. Day-to-day work includes translating UI/UX designs into responsive, accessible interfaces using Angular and/or Next.js, building and maintaining front-end features, and troubleshooting UI issues in collaboration with designers and back-end developers. Some exposure to minor back-end tasks should be expected, with the flexibility to switch between front-end and light back-end work as project needs shift. The role also involves clean, maintainable coding, rigorous code review (AI-generated code included), performance optimization, and ongoing improvement of AI-assisted development practices. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development skills, including experience with Angular, Next.js, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.Candidates should possess skills in Responsive Web Design, including building mobile-first interfaces and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.Candidates should possess skills in Web Development and Software Development, with knowledge of web standards, performance optimization, and secure coding practices.Candidates should possess foundational understanding of Back-End Web Development, enabling effective collaboration with back-end teams, integration with APIs, and the ability to independently resolve basic back-end issues when needed.Candidates should have sound working knowledge of modern AI-assisted development tools (such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, and Codex), with the ability to use them effectively to write, debug, and accelerate development, as well as critically review and validate AI-generated code before it ships.Relevant skills such as familiarity with version control (Git), RESTful APIs, UI/UX principles, and testing frameworks are beneficial.A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment are important.Good communication skills and a willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies and project requirements are expected — we're looking for a modern developer who leverages AI tooling as a core part of the workflow, not a purely classical hand-coder.
