This engineer will work directly with developers to shape deployment strategies, containerization approaches, cloud adoption efforts, and operational practices while helping deliver scalable, secure, and reliable applications.
The position is heavily focused on collaboration with software engineers and is best suited for someone with a software development background who has moved into DevOps, cloud engineering, or platform engineering.
Required Skills & Experience
Professional software engineering experience with application development Strong background with Node.js and JavaScript or similar application development technologies Experience working in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or related roles Hands-on experience deploying applications into Kubernetes environments Experience working with cloud-native infrastructure and services Strong Linux and Unix administration experience Experience with shell scripting and automation Programming or scripting experience with Python, JavaScript, or similar languages Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines Experience with infrastructure automation or Infrastructure as Code practices Ability to collaborate effectively across development and infrastructure teams Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and technology evaluation skills
