Software Engineer

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Development professional with strong hands-on software development experience in C, C++, Java, and Python. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cryptographic libraries, security services, secure software development, unit testing, and BDD, combined with experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum and/or SAFe. The candidate should also have practical experience using AI tools in software development, particularly for implementation, troubleshooting, debugging, fixing defects, and software testing. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, enhance, and maintain software using C, C++, Java, and Python.Work with cryptographic libraries and security services to develop secure and reliable software solutions.Define and implement effective unit testing strategies to ensure software quality and reliability.Apply BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) principles and practices.Troubleshoot, debug, analyze, and resolve complex software defects.Ensure software development activities comply with defined quality, security, and engineering standards.Participate actively in Agile development environments, including Scrum and potentially SAFe.Collaborate with developers, architects, testers, security specialists, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.Leverage AI-assisted software development tools for coding, implementation, troubleshooting, debugging, fixing, refactoring, and testing.Contribute to continuous improvement of development, testing, quality, and security practices. Required Qualifications 4+ years of professional software development experience.Strong hands-on programming experience with one or more of C, C++, Java, and Python, with the ability to work across multiple languages.4+ years of experience working with cryptographic libraries and/or security services.Strong understanding of secure software development and software security constraints.4+ years of experience in Agile software development, preferably with Scrum and/or SAFe.Strong experience defining and implementing unit tests.Knowledge and practical understanding of BDD (Behavior-Driven Development).Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and software testing.1+ year of experience using AI tools in software development, particularly for implementation, troubleshooting, fixing, code improvement, and testing.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with security-focused or mission-critical software.Experience with cryptographic APIs, libraries, protocols, or security services.Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.Experience working in large-scale Agile/SAFe organizations.Experience using AI coding assistants or AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar tools.
