Description

Position Name – Java Backend Engineer Type of hiring – Fulltime Location – Remote Canada Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot/WebFlux, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable microservices and cloud native applications while leveraging modern DevOps practices. Experience with GitHub Actions, Harness, Azure, Databricks, and Python is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high performance backend services using Java and Spring Boot/WebFlux.Build and support microservices based architectures with a focus on scalability, resilience, and performance.Develop reactive applications using Spring WebFlux and asynchronous programming paradigms.Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications on Kubernetes.Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Harness.Collaborate with cross functional teams including architects, DevOps engineers, product owners, and QA teams.Integrate applications with cloud services and data platforms hosted on Microsoft Azure.Work with Databricks for data processing integrations and analytics workflows.Develop automation scripts and utilities using Python.Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement improvements.
