Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to take charge of our DevOps strategies and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in AWS DevOps, with the ability to create sophisticated CI/CD pipelines and automate a variety of development and testing activities. This role is hands-on and requires an expert-level understanding of the AWS ecosystem, with a strong capability to work autonomously in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Immediate problem identification and remediation are key aspects of this role. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for a range of projects on AWS.Automate development, testing, and deployment processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.Work closely with the development team to integrate new deployment processes and strategies.Oversee the management of AWS resources and ensure proper infrastructure setup for high availability, scalability, and resilience.Lead the charge on incident management and response, quickly addressing and remediating any issues that arise.Proactively monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and participate in the resolution of outages.Keep up to date with the latest AWS services and best practices, implementing them to improve our services continually.Collaborate with the Chief Architect to align DevOps strategies with company goals.Guide and mentor team members, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and learning. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Knowledge, Skills And Competentcies At least 7 years of experience in DevOps roles, with a significant focus on AWS environments.Expertise in creating and managing CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc.Proficient in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or similar.Deep understanding of infrastructure as code principles, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and microservices architecture.Solid background in Linux/Unix administration.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to identify and prioritize immediate needs and issues effectively.AWS certifications are highly advantageous.
