What You'll Do
Develop, enhance, and maintain solutions for APIs, messaging, service integration, workflow processing, and file management across the bankDesign and build event-driven applications with Apache Kafka as a key technologyOwn the full lifecycle of solutions, from technical design through delivery and production supportEnsure solutions meet high standards of quality, security, performance, and availabilityContribute to architectural discussions and actively influence technical directionCreate Proofs of Concept to evaluate new technologies and approachesPartner with engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver effective solutionsInvestigate and resolve production issues while continuously improving platform stabilityBuild a strong understanding of Luminor's products, systems, and business processesWork within a cross-functional Agile teamCollaborate with colleagues across an international organization
What We're Looking For
Solid experience developing enterprise applications using Java (ideally Java 21) and Spring BootDemonstrated experience building distributed and event-driven systems using Kafka or similar technologiesPractical experience with AWS, container platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker, and CI/CD tools such as Argo CDStrong understanding of microservices architecture and API development principlesExperience working with SQL databases; familiarity with NoSQL technologies is considered an advantageA proactive ownership mindset and accountability for delivered solutionsPassion for solving complex engineering challenges and continuously improving systemsStrong collaboration and knowledge-sharing skillsFluent English communication skills, both written and spoken, due to working in a Pan-Baltic environment
