Overview
The DevOps Engineer will leverage their technical background to help deliver automation and big data analytics for the IC community.
You will be trained in DevOps and work alongside a collaborative team of Software Developers, Systems Development Engineers, Network Engineers, and Data Engineers to develop unique software that enables customer networks to safely operate at scale.
What will you do?
Deploying and provisioning AWS resources including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM roles, and VPC configurations to support scalable architectureBuilding, maintaining, and troubleshooting continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes using GitLab and GitHubRunning routine vulnerability scans, applying patches, and updating cloud and physical infrastructures to ensure security complianceDesigning and maintaining Kubernetes and EKS clusters to ensure high availability and productivity for the development teamCollaborating with stakeholders to ensure complete and functional systems that meet all requirementsRecommending, and when approved, implementing process and policy improvements
Do you have what it takes?
10+ years’ experience with DevOps, front end development or full stack developmentExperience with Bash scriptingExperience working within AWS (Amazon Web Services) environmentsExperience working with Linux administration and systems designExperience creating CI/CD pipelinesExperience with network documentation including security compliance, configuration management, and patching.
Pay Range: VTG’s estimated starting pay range is $180,000-$230,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location.
When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
