Job Title: Full Stack Engineer Location: San Francisco, CA or Washington, D.C. (On-site 5 days/week) + Light Travel Compensation: $180,000 – $240,000 + $50K–$500K Equity (4-year vesting) About the Role We are seeking a high-velocity Full Stack Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of greenfield, mission-critical AI systems for defense and national security. You will bridge complex Python backends with intuitive, high-performance Next.js/React frontends while occasionally traveling to customer sites to test applications in real-world scenarios. Key Responsibilities End-to-End Development: Architect and deploy production-grade features using Python, React, Next.js, and TypeScript. AI & Data Pipelines: Build and deploy production-level AI agents, LLM integrations, and scalable data pipelines. Customer Collaboration: Travel a few days per month to customer sites to demonstrate solutions, gather user feedback, and iterate rapidly. Requirements Clearance & Citizenship: Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance. U.S. Citizenship is strictly required. Experience: 2–8 years of full-stack engineering experience (70/30 backend-leaning). Tech Stack: Python, React, Next.js, TypeScript, and production AI/LLM API integrations. Mindset: 0→1 builder mentality with rapid execution experience in high-growth startups or fast-paced product teams. Education: BS in Computer Science (or equivalent) from a top-tier program.
