Description

Company Description ElevateOS (formerly Elevated Living) has been improving the resident experience for over seven years. We built a single, all-in-one platform that lets property managers and resident staff work together, replacing multiple confusing apps with one intuitive solution. The product is stable, growing, and US-based. ElevateOS provides a comprehensive platform that enhances the lifestyle experience in multifamily communities. The company delivers services ranging from concierge support to resident engagement tools, helping communities offer a modern, service-driven living environment. ElevateOS focuses on seamless technology and service integration to improve resident satisfaction and streamline property operations. Team members contribute to solutions that help residents feel more connected and enjoy where they live, while supporting property managers with scalable, efficient tools. About the role ElevateOS integrates with 20+ smart-device ecosystems β€” keyless entry, locks, cameras, switches, thermostats. Every integration is validated against physical hardware before release. We're hiring the person who owns that pipeline: the servers and environments behind it, the lab networking, and the infrastructure that keeps everything running. You'll set up and maintain the servers, environments, and networking behind our device integration pipeline, working directly with the development team and CTO with real autonomy β€” you decide how the infrastructure and tooling evolve. The role centers on server/infra ownership and diagnostic problem-solving, with IoT and hardware as part of the environment you support. What you'll own: ● Servers and test/staging environments β€” install, configure, and maintain the environments our integrations run against; adjust configurations live during debugging sessions with developers. ● Networking β€” device connectivity, router and network configuration, and remote access so the dev team can reach devices and environments from anywhere. ● Integration testing support β€” install builds, run tests, reproduce and isolate bugs, verify fixes with the team. ● Documentation β€” environment runbooks, test protocols, and findings. Requirements: ● DevOps or infrastructure engineering background β€” either a DevOps engineer with a strong engineering foundation, or an engineer with hands-on DevOps experience. ● Real, independent experience setting up and maintaining servers β€” Linux, cloud or on-premise. ● Solid Linux and networking fundamentals: comfortable in a terminal with SSH and logs, and with DNS/DHCP/port-level debugging. ● Strong at reading documentation and code (JavaScript/TypeScript) to independently identify where a problem is. ● Based in or near KrakΓ³w (rare occasional on-site presence) β€” the work is otherwise remote. ● Solid commercial technical experience ● Strong troubleshooting instincts and good English communication (B2+) Nice to have: ● Basic IoT infrastructure knowledge β€” device connectivity concepts (Wi-Fi, BLE, MQTT), not deep specialization. ● Hands-on comfort with physical hardware. ● Docker, Terraform, or similar infrastructure-as-code tools. ● CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.). ● Familiarity with smart locks, access control, or keyless entry ecosystems. Practical details ● Occasional in-person device handoffs in KrakΓ³w.
