Job Title Senior Software Developer Summary We are looking for a Java back-end developer with relevant experience, to come and reinforce our back-end development team. You will join a fully-fledged agile development team, contributing to the design of a web application based on a microservices architecture. Working with modern technologies such as Java, AWS, and cloud-based data platforms, you’ll help deliver reliable services that support front-end applications and business needs In this role, you will Design, develop, and maintain back-end services using Java and Spring Boot, following modern microservices architecture principlesCollaborate with cross-functional teams (front-end developers, product teams, and other stakeholders) to build and improve solutionsContribute to APIs and integrations using REST, GraphQL, and OpenAPI standardsWork with cloud and data technologies such as AWS, Snowflake, Redis, and big data platformsSupport continuous improvement through testing (JUnit), code quality practices, and participation in Agile workflowsExperience working in international or distributed teams will be goodFamiliarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Jira) or scripting languages such as Python will be plus About The Ideal Candidate At least 5 years of experience in Java back-end developmentGood knowledge of Java, multithreading techniques, SQL, and unit testing (JUnit)Understanding of microservices architecture and frameworks such as Spring BootFamiliarity with databases and data warehousing concepts (e.g., Snowflake or similar technologies)Exposure to cloud environments (e.g., AWS) and containerization tools such as Docker is a plusA collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with different teamsCuriosity, willingness to learn, and openness to new ideasAttention to quality and detail, with a proactive approach to problem-solvingAbility to adapt in an evolving, Agile environmentUnderstanding AI prompting is nice to have.
