Network Engineer

We're Hiring: Network Engineer (LCM & Lab) – 100% Remote (Poland) Are you an experienced Network Engineer with a track record of managing large-scale production infrastructure and network lifecycle operations? We are looking for a dedicated contractor to support a massive, global network connecting edge POPs, data centers, and multi-exabyte storage systems. Role Highlights: Role: Network Engineer – Network LCM & Lab Location: Remote (Within Poland) Contract Duration: 12 Months (40 hours/week) Environment: Global multi-vendor production network (Cisco, Juniper, Arista) What You'll Do: Drive lifecycle management (hardware, software, firmware, OS) across global POPs, data centers, and backbone networks. Plan and execute fleet-wide network upgrade rollouts, readiness checks, and post-upgrade validation. Operate a dedicated lab and test environment to qualify hardware platforms, configurations, and tooling. Partner with network engineering teams and vendors to resolve platform defects and escalations. Improve change safety, repeatability, and efficiency through scripting and automation (Python, Ansible). Key Requirements: 5+ years of operational experience in high-scale production network environments. Strong hands-on proficiency with platforms from Juniper, Cisco, or Arista. Solid understanding of core routing protocols (BGP, OSPF/ISIS, IPv4/IPv6). Proven track record executing structured network change operations and maintenance windows. Experience with Python scripting or network automation tools (Ansible) is a plus.
