We design and ship production hardware and firmware for clients in Nepal and abroad, covering wireless mesh networks, industrial control, connected consumer devices, and payment systems. Our engineers work on complete products rather than isolated modules. An intern here will see a device move from schematic and bring-up through firmware, protocol integration, field testing, and production. Role SummaryWe are looking for firmware engineering interns who want to build embedded products on real hardware. You will join a small team of engineers, work on live client and internal projects under the guidance of a senior engineer, and take ownership of well-defined firmware tasks from the first month. This is a hands-on role. You will spend your time writing C, reading datasheets, and debugging on the bench. What You Will DoWrite and debug firmware in C for ESP32, STM32, nRF52 etc. class microcontrollersBring up and configure peripherals including UART, SPI, I2C, ADC, GPIO, and timersImplement and test features on top of FreeRTOS, including task design, queues, semaphores, and timersWork with wireless connectivity such as BLE, BLE Mesh, ESP-NOW, and Wi-FiIntegrate wired and wireless communication protocols such as Modbus RTU over RS485, LoRa, and standard IP networking servicesDebug at the hardware level using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and serial tracingWrite test procedures and maintain clear technical documentation for the firmware you produceParticipate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning with the engineering teamRequirementsBachelor level study in Electronics, Computer, Electrical, or a closely related engineering discipline, either in the final year or recently completedWorking knowledge of the C programming language, including pointers, structures, and bit manipulationBasic understanding of microcontroller architecture and common peripheralsFamiliarity with at least one development platform such as ESP-IDF, Arduino, STM32 HAL, Zephyr, or the Nordic SDKAbility to read a schematic and a component datasheetComfort working on Linux and with GitWillingness to learn, ask questions, and work through difficult bugs methodicallyPreferredPersonal, academic, or hackathon projects involving microcontrollers, published on GitHub or demonstrable in an interviewExposure to FreeRTOS or any real time operating systemExperience with BLE, Wi-Fi, LoRa, or other wireless technologiesBasic Python for tooling, test scripts, and automationUnderstanding of version control workflows in a team settingWe do not expect candidates to meet every point above.
