What you’ll be doing?
Build and evaluate ML models for extracting structured data from pharma documents (clinical forms, prescriptions, regulatory filings)Develop OCR/OMR pipelines and experiment with text extraction techniquesExplore LLM integration using LangChain-prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluationSupport data preparation: cleaning, annotation, and labelling for NLP datasetsWrite clean Python code; contribute to shared codebases with guidance from senior engineers
What we’re looking for?
Individuals pursuing or recently completed a degree in CS, AI/ML, or related fieldSolid Python skills; familiarity with at least one ML framework (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face Transformers)Coursework or project experience in NLP, computer vision, or document processingCuriosity about LLMs and how they're applied in real systemsComfortable asking questions and learning from feedback
Nice-to-have Skills
Exposure to OCR tools (Tesseract, PaddleOCR, EasyOCR)Interest in healthcare/biomedical AI applicationsAny experience with LangChain, vector databases, or prompt engineering
