What will you do? As a Software (Data) Engineer in the technology team you will work on the systems that power our smart-building platform. Our team is responsible for ingesting, processing and transforming large volumes of sensor and building data into reliable, scalable products. In practice, you will: Design, build, and maintain data pipelines that ingest and process telemetry from building management systems and IoT sensors to digital twinsDevelop Python services and workflows that power our data platform and internal productsContribute to our software products in the realm of building analytics and building intelligenceContinuously improve the reliability, performance, and scalability of the platformWork with engineers and domain experts to turn real building data into practical solutionsHelp shape our building intelligence platform evolution as we scale our team and portfolio What do you bring? You are passionate about software development and data-driven systemsStrong Python skills and experience in building software systemsSolid understanding of databases, query systems, and data modeling (KQL / Azure Data Explorer is a plus)Familiarity with cloud environments, ideally Azure (event-driven systems, serverless computing, high-performance storage, IAC)Curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, and a pragmatic engineering mindsetComfortable taking ownership of technical problems from idea to productionYou care about sustainability and want your day-to-day work to support a lower‑carbon, more resource‑efficient world.A technical Master’s degree in a related field (Data Science, Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics), or a Bachelor’s degree with at least three years' work experience Working at TPEX International At TPEX International, you'll join an innovative and ambitious team that's shaping the future of smart and autonomous buildings.
