We are seeking an AI-native full-stack engineer to build the product technicians and owners open every day. You'll work closely with our CEO, Head of Product, and design team to take features from a customer conversation to production, often in the same week. Honestly, the thing we care about most is hunger. We're looking for someone in the earlier part of their career with a chip on their shoulder — something to prove and every intention of winning big. You'll get far more ownership than your years of experience say you should.You will work across the whole system: the web and mobile product our customers use, the platform that calculates what every technician has earned, and the integrations that pull live job and revenue data out of ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, Jobber, and QuickBooks. You'll ship with Claude Code on almost everything you write. We build in Rails, React, and TypeScript, so that background is a head start — but we care far more about how you think than what you've shipped in. If you're excellent in Python, Go, Elixir, Java, or anything else and you learn fast, apply. Must be okay with getting pinged on Slack in the evenings and weekends. We are not constrained by a typical 9-to-5 schedule. We want to win. WHO YOU ARE You've got something to prove, and you ship fast with AI. • 4–7 years of experience building and shipping production web applications • Full-stack range — Rails and React/TypeScript preferred, but we're open to strong engineers from other stacks who can ramp quickly • Strong SQL and PostgreSQL skills — you can write and debug the query, not just the ORM call • Experience with background jobs, queues, and asynchronous processing at scale • You've integrated with third-party APIs that are rate-limited, badly documented, or both • You use Claude Code or a comparable agent daily, and you know where it needs supervision • You've owned something in production, including the part where it broke at 2am • You work well without a spec and are comfortable talking directly to customers • You move fast, take feedback hard and well, and want to be great — not comfortable • Bonus: multi-tenant SaaS, payroll or payments data, MCP servers, or the trades WHAT YOU'LL DO Own features end to end. • Partner with the CEO, Head of Product, and design to ship things customers feel immediately • Build full-stack features across our Rails platform and React and Next.js front end • Build and own integrations with the systems trades companies already run • Write the SQL and background jobs behind every payout we calculate, and make sure they are right • Keep the platform fast and reliable as we add customers • Push our AI-native workflow forward: agents that pick up tickets, automated multi-model code review, MCP servers that let our tools operate our own systems safely • Talk to customers, watch them use what you built, and fix what does not land YOU MIGHT NOT BE A FIT IF… An honest filter.
