About The Role As a Staff Software Engineer (m/f/d), you will be a key technical authority responsible for making complex, unclear, or broken systems manageable and scalable. You will own the architecture of our full-stack platform, which includes the web application used daily by doctors, optician partners, and their customers, as well as the supporting backend services and infrastructure on AWS. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, emphasizing deep technical expertise and strategic influence rather than managerial responsibilities. Your focus will be on shaping the platform’s architecture to ensure it remains fast, reliable, and scalable for international expansion. You will drive engineering best practices, improve testing strategies, and collaborate closely with product teams to deliver effective solutions that meet real-world product demands. Your work will directly impact the quality, operability, and scalability of our platform, helping us maintain our standards of excellence in healthcare technology.
