Senior Infrastructure and Cloud Engineer

A fast-growing digital asset investment and technology business is seeking Senior Infrastructure Engineers to join its expanding technology team. Operating at the forefront of cryptocurrency markets and institutional digital asset investing, the firm relies on secure, highly available, and scalable infrastructure to support trading, research, and business operations across global markets. You'll help shape and support a modern hybrid environment spanning Azure, Microsoft technologies, Linux platforms, automation, and cybersecurity. The Role: You will be responsible for maintaining, improving, and securing the firm's infrastructure, ensuring resilience, performance, and scalability across cloud and on-premise environments. Key responsibilities: Managing and enhancing Microsoft, Azure, and Linux infrastructureSupporting and optimising cloud-first platforms and servicesManaging Linux servers and services across production environmentsDriving automation and Infrastructure as Code initiativesManaging Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune environmentsMaintaining secure, highly available systems supporting critical business operationsImplementing security controls and infrastructure best practicesMonitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issuesSupporting disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity solutionsWorking closely with technology, operations, and investment teams on strategic initiativesSkills & Experience: Strong experience in Infrastructure EngineeringEducated to degree levelExperience supporting both Microsoft and Linux infrastructureStrong Azure administration and cloud engineering expertise desirableExperience with Microsoft 365 and IntuneStrong understanding of networking, firewalls, VPNs, and security principlesKnowledge of infrastructure monitoring, resilience, and disaster recoveryA proactive approach with a genuine passion for technologyDesirable Experience within financial services, hedge funds, fintech, trading, or digital assetsKnowledge of Terraform, Ansible, GitHub, CI/CD, or Infrastructure Experience supporting high-availability and business-critical systemsExposure to containerisation technologies such as Docker or KubernetesInterest in cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, or digital asset marketsEnvironment: Work at the intersection of technology, finance, and digital assetsGain direct exposure to institutional cryptocurrency and digital asset marketsWork with Azure, Linux, cloud infrastructure, automation, and cybersecurity technologiesJoin a highly collaborative and technically strong teamInfluence infrastructure strategy and technology directionCompetitive salaryGenuine opportunity for growth and progression within a rapidly expanding business We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
