About The Role Motional is seeking an experienced Staff Front End Engineer to join its Web Visualization Tooling team. This pivotal role involves designing and developing advanced web tooling and visualization systems that enhance feedback loops for machine learning engineers and improve the performance and adaptability of autonomous vehicle systems. The ideal candidate will lead the development of mission-critical UI components, establish best practices for web development, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including ML, UX, data services, and data annotation teams. The role demands a proactive approach to architecting scalable frontend ecosystems using React, TypeScript, and Vue, ensuring high performance, maintainability, and scalability of web applications.
