Software Developer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role • Develop and modify software as an individual contributor and as part of a team. • Analyze system requirements and apply software engineering principles to design and code robust and reusable solutions. • Leverage and critically evaluate AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and code quality. • Contribute to team best practices for responsible AI tool usage, including code reviews and documentation. • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, escalating complex problems when necessary. • Promote code reuse and cross-program collaboration to reduce maintenance costs. What You'll Need • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. • Experience with programming languages such as C++, Python, or Qt. • Practical experience using AI-assisted software development tools in a development environment. • Demonstrated ability to validate, debug, and improve AI-generated code and recommendations. • Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including debugging, testing, and maintainability. • Ability to plan and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision and communicate effectively.
