Description

South East Queensland | Full Time | Company Vehicle Lee Civil is a specialist civil contractor delivering major water and sewer infrastructure projects across South East Queensland. As our business continues to grow, we’re creating a new in-house opportunity for an experienced Engineering Surveyor to take ownership of our surveying function and help shape how survey and digital construction are delivered across our projects. This is more than a field setout role. You’ll work directly with our project engineers, supervisors and construction crews across technically challenging pipeline projects, with the autonomy to manage survey requirements from project establishment through to final as-constructed deliverables. The Role You’ll be responsible for: Establishing and maintaining survey controlConstruction setout for pipelines, structures and associated civil worksAs-constructed surveys and preparation of project deliverablesWorking with 12d and AutoCAD for survey and construction dataPreparing and managing machine control dataWorking closely with engineers and site teams to resolve technical issuesMaintaining survey records, QA documentation and data integrityHelping develop and improve Lee Civil’s survey systems and processesAbout You We’re looking for someone with: Experience in engineering or construction surveyingStrong knowledge of civil construction survey practicesExperience with 12d and AutoCADExperience with Leica and/or Trimble survey equipmentExperience with machine control highly regardedStrong understanding of survey control, setout and as-constructed requirementsAbility to work independently and provide technical guidance onsiteValid Australian driver’s licenceExperience in pipeline, water or sewer infrastructure would be highly regarded, but isn’t essential for the right person.
