DevOps Engineer – Trading Technology | Hong Kong We’re partnering with a global, technology-led investment firm to hire an experienced DevOps Engineer into a high-performance engineering environment. This is not a traditional “keep the lights on” DevOps position. You’ll work closely with software engineering teams to build the platforms, pipelines, automation and developer tooling that underpin business-critical systems. What you’ll be doing Building and improving CI/CD pipelines, release processes and deployment toolingDesigning self-service platforms and developer tooling that improve engineering productivityAutomating infrastructure, deployments, upgrades and migrationsWorking across hybrid infrastructure – on-premise and cloudBuilding internal tools, APIs and integrationsImproving monitoring, alerting, observability and operational readinessPartnering closely with software engineers to improve how applications move from development into productionHelping establish engineering standards and best practices across teams What we’re looking for Strong Python and scripting skillsHands-on experience with KubernetesStrong cloud infrastructure experience, ideally AWSTerraform / OpenTofu / Infrastructure as CodeStrong understanding of Linux, with Windows exposure beneficialExperience building or operating mature CI/CD environmentsGit and modern software development workflowsMonitoring/observability experience with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch or SplunkAn engineering mindset focused on automation, reliability and eliminating repetitive operational work Exposure to C/C++, Make or CMake would be beneficial but isn't essential.
