Java Middleware/Backend Developer

We are looking for a Java Middleware/Backend DeveloperThis role involves developing and maintaining enterprise-wide systems and applications, providing innovative solutions to business problems, and enhancing the client experience. Responsibilities:Responsible for building services and coming up with appropriate solutions to business problemsResearch, design, develop, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems/applicationsPrototype solutions and recommend the adoption of new technologies to continually improve client experienceSupport development and deployment of application software releases to production and non-production environmentsSelf-reliant, hands-on position to lead and drive code quality, maintaining application stability in an agile environmentCollaborate with architectural peers, product owners, UX/UI, internal/external stakeholders, and globally distributed teams to understand requirements and develop applications in compliance with client needsAssist in the development of overall project plans and timetables, analysis, and identification of intermediate deliverablesDefine engineering best practices and mentor teams to write elegant code using effective automated unit tests & Test Driven Development methodologiesDevelop specifications for new products/services, applications, and service offeringsMeet deadlines and manage multiple, dynamic prioritiesRequirements:Core skills - 8 years with Java 17, Spring 6, JPARelational Database: 5 years of experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle - PL/SQL, stored procedures, tuning, and optimizationEnterprise Web Applications: Extensive experience in large-scale SaaS applications development, Spring Framework, Hibernate, WebSphere or TomcatAPI-Driven Development - Solid experience in RESTful and microservices developmentExperience with Docker and deployment tools for continuous delivery/DevOpsUnit Testing / TDD - Experience with Continuous Integration & Delivery, Automated Testing, and tools such as JUnitAgile Development Methodology - Knowledge of Agile/Scrum/iterative development methodologiesExperience in Rally, Jira, GitHub, JenkinsOutstanding problem-solving skills with creative thinkingRequired Skills:Java 17, Spring 6, JPAPostgreSQL, Oracle - PL/SQLSpring Framework, HibernateRESTful services, MicroservicesDocker, DevOps toolsJUnit, Continuous Integration & DeliveryAgile/Scrum methodologiesRally, Jira, GitHub, JenkinsPreferred Skills:Experience with WebSphere or TomcatCreative problem-solving skills
