Description

As a Senior Development Planner, you will mentor and support other planners while providing high-level professional and technical advice on development, property and land use matters. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will assess complex development applications, coordinate major projects and represent Council in planning forums to deliver sustainable outcomes for the community. You will play a key role in building team capability, providing quality customer service and helping shape the future growth of the Central Coast. Applicant Profile To be successful in this role, you will have: A degree qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline, providing a strong foundation in planning principles, legislation and development assessment.Demonstrated contemporary experience in a similar planning role, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of industry trends and legislative changes.Membership of, or eligibility for membership of, the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA).A current Class C Driver's Licence. Offer Details The commencing salary for this position is up to ($110,925.99). Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of ($128,524.44) on completion of assessment of skills and performance plus 12% superannuation We have a Temporary (2 years) permanent full-time role available until June 2028This role will be able to access a 9 day fortnightWe are able to offer hybrid and flexible working conditions for this role - 2 days from home and 3 days onsite.This role is located at the Wyong Administration Building.A vehicle allowance of $207.31 per week is available for this position.
