Responsibilities Grow Your Skills, Grow Your Potential We are looking for a talented, self-directed, highly technical individual to join our Enterprise Customer Relationship Management (ECRM) Customer Data and Household Groupings team. Our team delivers the foundational customer information and search capabilities that enable agents and customer support associates to quickly find, understand, and serve State Farm customers. This individual will design and implement solutions for Salesforce customer data, household groupings, search, and related integrations. Responsibilities include coding, testing, troubleshooting, product support, and participation in the team's agile ceremonies. This opportunity requires experienced application development skills, strong collaboration, and effective communication. The focus of the work will be creating and improving Salesforce products, APIs, web services, and data integrations that provide accurate, reliable customer and household information across ECRM. Qualifications Required Skills Experience (2+ years) designing, developing, modifying, and testing new and existing web-based applications using technologies such as JavaScript, Java, XML, HTML, SQL, JSON, YAML, Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring APIs Experience performing unit, integration, and end-to-end testing across applications, services, and downstream system dependencies Ability to troubleshoot complex application, data, and service issues and contribute to the resolution of high-priority production incidents Ability to deliver reliable solutions in a highly collaborative team environment and in close partnership with other technical and business teams Experience practicing agile methodologies, including Scrum, continuous integration, retrospectives, and continuous improvement Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to navigate crucial conversations, promote team accountability, and clearly communicate technical issues Understanding of how technology solutions support business outcomes and the ability to recommend solutions based on current and future business needs Desired Skills Experience with Salesforce development, including working knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura components, Bulk API, data security, batch processing, and the Salesforce sharing model Experience with AWS applications and services such as Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, WAF, and CloudWatch Experience developing or supporting enterprise customer, account, household, identity, or relationship-management data solutions Experience with enterprise search functionality, customer data integrations, or downstream customer-management services Experience with automated testing frameworks Experience using continuous integration and delivery pipelines, including GitLab and GitOps practices Experience with development tools such as VS Code, Force.com, Illuminated Cloud, or similar tools, including IDE integration with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot Experience monitoring and supporting enterprise applications in production, including incident triage, root-cause analysis, and defect resolution Technical writing and documentation experience and the ability to discuss technical topics to a business audience Our Benefits Because work-life balance is a priority at State Farm, compensation is based on our standard 38:45-hour work week!
