Description

Job Description We are looking for a senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our program driving the Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) cloud platform that supports collection, management and analysis of digital engineering information in an architecture that provides seamless digital thread and enables tool interoperability, including data structures suitable for AI applications. This program delivers engineering services for Linux and Windows cloud-based infrastructure as well as sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, Cloud services as well as virtualized applications, and storage systems. Enterprise Computing Engineering services include modern application technology, and containerized solutions with orchestrated workflows. This is a fast paced, challenging, and career rewarding experience on one of the most complex and high-profile programs within the government customer community. Responsibilities Develop, deploy, and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) in an AWS cloud-based environmentDevelop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for DBs, Servers, containers, API gateways and catalogs, and applications using DevSecOps tools to include Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, SonarCube, SeleniumDevelop integration interfaces using Python, PowerShell, and GroovyConfigure IdAM, Active Directory, LDAP resourcesDeploy and maintain complex modern cloud architecturesCreate automated testing plans for infrastructure and applicationsCreate and update technical documentation (e.g. user guides, infrastructure diagrams)Work across infrastructure that contains both Linux and WindowsWork and communicate effectively in a group environment with technical and non-technical, management and customer both written and verballyUtilize robust troubleshooting skillsInstill and apply solid engineering rigor, to include configuration management, testingDevelop/engineer as part of an Agile scrum team Location and Hours Sterling, VA M-F with core hours of 0900 - 1500 XYZ Required Education, Experience, & Skills 10+ years' relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree Must meet DOD 8570 requirements (Security+ CE Certification minimum)Demonstrated expertise as a senior DecSecOps Engineer delivering similar scope projects Familiarity with Containerized Development environments (Rancher, Kubernetes)Understanding of all security related requirements in secure environmentsFamiliar with Agile Methodologies and ability to accurately decompose tasks for Jira storiesExpert troubleshooting and solutioning skillsStrong technical documentation skills Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills STEM DegreeExperience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)Experience with ServiceNow, Grafana, Splunk, AppDynamics, or DynaTraceIntegration of virtualized applications and application streaming or layering techniquesExperience leading and overseeing a total system perspective including technical understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements of cloud services, infrastructure and security domainsExperience with IBM Enterprise Lifecycle Management, TeamWork Cloud/Cameo experience, Microsoft Project and/or Tableau Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
