About The Role We are seeking a talented and motivated Java Developer (m/w/d) to join our core systems team on a permanent, full-time basis at our Dortmund location, with the flexibility of working up to 80% remotely. In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing our in-house software solutions, contributing to the development of scalable, maintainable, and future-proof services. You will collaborate closely with a dedicated team of approximately 15 developers, engaging in a dynamic environment that values innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include analyzing requirements, designing and implementing robust Java-based services, and participating in the ongoing evolution of our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence technical standards and contribute to the digital transformation of healthcare finance solutions. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should possess a solid educational background in computer science or a comparable qualification. You have extensive experience in Java software development and working with SQL databases. Proficiency in German is essential for effective communication with internal stakeholders and clients. Ideally, you have prior exposure to Delphi and Object Pascal, which will be beneficial in understanding and maintaining existing systems. A passion for clean coding, scalability, and innovative problem-solving is vital, along with a proactive mindset and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
