Our partner is looking for a Sr Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure based in Canada.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in a globally distributed infrastructure team supporting secure, reliable, and scalable technology services.
You will help operate and improve cloud and on-premise environments across Windows and Linux platforms.
The role combines hands-on infrastructure operations with automation, troubleshooting, security, and continuous improvement.
You will collaborate closely with teams across cloud, networking, security, compliance, applications, and external technology partners.
Your work will contribute to operational excellence, cost efficiency, system reliability, and enterprise technology initiatives.

This is a full-time role based in Concord, Ontario, with an on-site working arrangement.
Accountabilities
Support the day-to-day operation and reliability of Windows and Linux server environments across cloud and on-premise infrastructure.Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, investigate incidents, and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to drive timely resolution.Contribute to automation and configuration management initiatives that improve operational efficiency, consistency, and scalability.Perform system maintenance activities, including patching, upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and other infrastructure lifecycle tasks.Partner with security, compliance, networking, application, and other technology teams to support enterprise initiatives.Help maintain secure, compliant, cost-efficient, and highly reliable infrastructure services.Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across infrastructure operations, automation, and cloud environments.Support a globally distributed, follow-the-sun operating model and contribute to projects that enhance technology services.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.Several years of professional experience in IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, systems administration, or a related field.Strong hands-on experience managing Windows and Linux server environments in enterprise settings.Experience with cloud technologies, with Azure certification or an equivalent cloud certification preferred.Solid knowledge of scripting and automation, particularly with PowerShell, Python, and YAML.Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues using a structured and analytical approach.Strong understanding of infrastructure operations, maintenance, patching, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation.Experience working collaboratively with security, compliance, application, networking, and infrastructure teams.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with distributed, cross-functional teams.Previous experience with PowerApps, LogicApps, Ansible, or similar automation technologies is an advantage.Familiarity with infrastructure environments subject to security and compliance requirements, such as SOX, is a plus.Exposure to cloud cost management, optimization, or FinOps practices is desirable.A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to operational excellence are highly valued.
Benefits
