Job Description We build critical, multi asset class platforms for Sales and trading teams globally across RBC Capital Markets. Collaborate with the front office, product, QA and design teams to build best in class applications using the latest technology. Be a thought leader driving our tech standards and development practises for the long term. What will you do ? Design and implement application solutions on the target platform using Java, Solace and REST based microservices, and Kubernetes Cloud deployments for reliability and scalabilityDevelop Java Spring Boot applications, with GridGain, MemSQL and Elastic backendsFollow best practices and development standards for high quality delivery. This includes code review, static code analysis, and unit test coveragePerformance testing and analysis to ensure the applications perform under various load profilesCreate technical documentation, training, and information sharing with the team membersWork in an Agile team to incrementally deliver solutionsProvide L3 production support along with other team members What do you need to succeed ? Must have: Experience building Java applications using Spring and Spring Boot with GridGain based backendsExperience developing microservicesExperience building application with AIExperience profiling and analyzing applications written in Java for high performance and scalabilityDemonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skillsAbility to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and projectDeadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high-quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously Nice-to-have: Experience with DevOps and implementation of CI/CD pipelineExperience with GridGain, ElasticCapital Markets experience What’s in it for you?
